학생 규정 (Student Rules & Code of Conduct)

본 규정은 HAVARD DEBATE COUNCIL SUMMRE WORKSHOP IN KOREA 참가 학생들이 안전하고 집중도 높은 학습 환경 속에서 프로그램에 참여할 수 있도록 마련되었습니다. 모든 참가자는 아래 규정을 숙지하고 성실히 준수하여야 합니다.

1. 존중과 책임 있는 태도 (Respect & Professional Conduct)

모든 참가자는 코치(Coach), 운영진(Staff) 및 워크샵 관계자의 안내와 지시에 따라야 합니다.

참가자는 서로를 존중하며 예의 바른 태도로 소통해야 하며, 인종, 국적, 성별, 언어, 의견 차이를 이유로 타인을 비하하거나 차별하는 행동은 허용되지 않습니다.

토론 및 팀 활동 과정에서 의견 차이가 발생하더라도 성숙하고 책임 있는 태도로 임해야 합니다.

2. 출석 및 참여 의무 (Attendance & Participation)

모든 참가자는 정해진 시간에 워크샵(Workshop), 세션(Session), 연습 라운드(Practice Round) 및 공식 활동(Official Activities)에 성실히 참여하여야 합니다.

지각, 무단결석, 무단이탈 또는 진행을 방해하는 행동은 허용되지 않습니다.

워크샵의 교육 효과를 위해 적극적인 참여 자세가 요구됩니다.

3. 영어 사용 환경 (English Language Environment)

본 워크샵의 공식 운영 언어는 영어(English)입니다.

워크샵, 토론, 발표, 팀 활동 및 코치와의 소통 시 영어 사용을 원칙으로 하며, 참가자는 영어 몰입 환경 조성에 협조하여야 합니다.

4. 노트북 및 전자기기 규정 (Laptop & Device Policy)

모든 참가자는 워크샵 시간 중 개인 노트북(Personal Laptop)을 반드시 지참 및 사용하여야 합니다.

노트북은 리서치(Research), 문서 작성(Document Preparation), 토론 준비(Debate Preparation), 자료 확인(Material Review) 등 워크샵 관련 목적에 한하여 사용됩니다.

워크샵 시간 중 아래 행위는 제한됩니다.

게임(Game), 영상 시청(Video Streaming), SNS, 메신저(Messenger) 등 프로그램과 무관한 사용
무단 녹음(Audio Recording) 또는 무단 녹화(Video Recording)
타인의 참여를 방해하는 전자기기 사용

운영진은 필요 시 기기 사용 제한 또는 지도를 할 수 있습니다.

5. 금지 행위 (Prohibited Conduct)

다음 행위는 엄격히 금지됩니다.

폭언, 욕설, 위협적 언행
괴롭힘(Bullying), 따돌림, 조롱
신체적 충돌 또는 폭력 행위
타인의 물품 도난, 훼손 또는 무단 사용
허가 없이 활동 장소를 이탈하는 행위
부정행위(Cheating), 표절(Plagiarism), 허위 정보 제출
시설물 훼손 또는 고의적 오염
흡연(Smoking), 음주(Alcohol), 마약류(Drugs) 및 위험물 소지 또는 사용
부적절한 언행 또는 타인에게 불쾌감을 주는 행동

6. 지식재산권 및 자료 보호 규정 (Intellectual Property & Materials Policy)

본 워크샵은 Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshop Program을 기반으로 운영됩니다.

이에 따라 Harvard Debate Council의 사전 서면 승인 없이 로고(Logo), 명칭(Name), 커리큘럼(Curriculum), 운영자료(Materials), 콘텐츠(Contents) 등을 무단 사용·복제·배포·가공·외부 반출하는 행위는 엄격히 금지됩니다.

또한 아래 행위 역시 금지됩니다.

워크샵, 세션, 토론 활동의 무단 녹음 또는 녹화
코치 자료, 핸드아웃(Handout), 운영 콘텐츠의 외부 공유
프로그램 자료의 무단 복사, 촬영, 유출
Harvard Debate Council 관련 상표(Trademark), 로고, 브랜드 자산의 무단 사용

위반 행위 발생 시, Harvard Debate Council 운영진 및 관련 권리 기관의 정책에 따라 법적 책임이 발생할 수 있으며, 워크샵 측은 필요한 조치를 취할 수 있습니다.

또한 해당 참가자 및 관련자는 ASDA KOREA가 주관 또는 운영하는 향후 모든 프로그램 및 행사 참여가 영구 제한될 수 있습니다.

7. 개인 소지품 관리 (Personal Belongings)

개인 소지품은 참가자 본인이 직접 관리하여야 합니다.

고가 물품 또는 불필요한 귀중품의 반입은 권장되지 않으며, 분실·파손에 대한 책임은 참가자 본인에게 있습니다.

모든 소지품에는 이름 표기를 권장합니다.

8. 건강 및 안전 (Health & Safety)

몸 상태 이상, 부상(Injury), 알레르기(Allergy) 증상 또는 응급 상황(Emergency) 발생 시 즉시 코치 또는 운영진에게 알려야 합니다.

참가자는 안전 수칙을 준수해야 하며, 위험한 장난이나 타인의 안전을 해치는 행동은 금지됩니다.

9. 음식 및 공용 공간 이용 (Food & Shared Spaces)

음식물 섭취는 허용된 장소에서만 가능합니다.

공용 공간(Common Areas)은 깨끗하게 사용하여야 하며, 사용 후 정리정돈에 협조해야 합니다.

알레르기 및 위생 문제로 인해 음식 공유는 제한될 수 있습니다.

10. 징계 규정 (Discipline Policy)

규정 위반 시 워크샵은 다음과 같은 조치를 취할 수 있습니다.

1차: 구두 경고 (Verbal Warning)
2차: 학부모 통보 및 공식 경고 (Official Warning)
3차: 프로그램 참여 제한 또는 귀가 조치

중대한 위반 행위의 경우 경고 없이 즉시 퇴소될 수 있습니다.

11. 규정 동의 및 적용 (Acceptance & Equal Enforcement)

참가자는 본 규정을 거부할 권리가 있습니다. 다만 본 규정은 워크샵의 원활한 운영과 모든 참여자의 권리 보호를 위해 마련된 기준이므로, 규정 동의를 거부할 경우 프로그램 참여가 제한될 수 있습니다.

본 규정에 대한 문의 또는 이의 제기는 언제든지 info@hdcsw-rok.com으로 접수할 수 있으며, 운영진 검토 후 안내드립니다.

별도의 이의 제기 없이 본 워크샵 세션이 시작된 이후 계속 참여하는 경우, 참가자는 본 규정을 충분히 이해하고 이에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

본 규정은 모든 참가자에게 차별 없이 동일하고 공정하게 적용됩니다.

12. 참가자 확인 사항 (Acknowledgement)

본 워크샵 참가자는 위 규정을 이해하고 준수할 책임이 있으며, 안전하고 수준 높은 학습 공동체 형성을 위해 적극 협조하여야 합니다.

Student Rules & Code of Conduct

These regulations are established to ensure that all participants of the HAVARD DEBATE COUNCIL SUMMRE WORKSHOP IN KOREA can participate in a safe and focused learning environment. All participants are expected to understand and comply with the following rules.

1. Respect & Professional Conduct

All participants must follow the guidance and instructions of coaches, staff, and workshop personnel.

Participants must communicate respectfully and courteously. Discrimination or disrespect based on race, nationality, gender, language, or differing opinions will not be tolerated.

Even when disagreements arise during debate or team activities, participants must respond in a mature and responsible manner.

2. Attendance & Participation

All participants must attend workshops, sessions, practice rounds, and official activities on time and participate sincerely.

Late arrival, unexcused absence, leaving without permission, or disruptive behavior is not permitted.

Active participation is expected to maximize the value of the workshop experience.

3. English Language Environment

The official language of this workshop is English.

English should be used during workshops, debates, presentations, team activities, and communication with coaches in order to maintain an immersive English-speaking environment.

4. Laptop & Device Policy

All participants are required to bring and use a personal laptop during workshop hours.

Laptops may only be used for workshop-related purposes such as research, document preparation, debate preparation, and reviewing materials.

The following activities are restricted during workshop hours:

Use unrelated to the program such as games, video streaming, social media, or messaging apps
Unauthorized audio or video recording
Device use that disrupts others’ participation

Staff may limit device use or provide guidance when necessary.

5. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Abusive language, profanity, or threatening behavior
Bullying, exclusion, or mockery
Physical confrontation or violence
Theft, damage, or unauthorized use of others’ belongings
Leaving activity areas without permission
Cheating, plagiarism, or submitting false information
Damaging or intentionally misusing facilities
Possession or use of smoking products, alcohol, drugs, or hazardous items
Inappropriate conduct or behavior causing discomfort to others

6. Intellectual Property & Materials Policy

This workshop is operated based on the Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshop Program.

Accordingly, any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, modification, or external sharing of logos, names, curriculum, materials, or contents without prior written approval from Harvard Debate Council is strictly prohibited.

The following actions are also prohibited:

Unauthorized recording of workshops, sessions, or debate activities
External sharing of coach materials, handouts, or program contents
Unauthorized copying, photographing, or leaking of program materials
Unauthorized use of Harvard Debate Council trademarks, logos, or brand assets

Violations may result in legal liability under the policies of Harvard Debate Council and relevant rights holders, and the workshop may take necessary action.

In addition, the participant and related parties may be permanently restricted from joining any future programs or events organized by ASDA KOREA.

7. Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for managing their own personal belongings.

Bringing expensive or unnecessary valuables is discouraged, and participants are responsible for any loss or damage.

Labeling all belongings with the participant’s name is recommended.

8. Health & Safety

Any illness, injury, allergy symptoms, or emergency must be reported immediately to a coach or staff member.

Participants must follow safety guidelines, and dangerous behavior that threatens others’ safety is prohibited.

9. Food & Shared Spaces

Food and drinks may only be consumed in designated areas.

Common areas must be kept clean, and participants are expected to tidy up after use.

Food sharing may be restricted due to allergy and hygiene concerns.

10. Discipline Policy

The workshop may take the following actions in response to rule violations:

First: Verbal Warning
Second: Parent Notification and Official Warning
Third: Participation Restriction or Dismissal

Serious violations may result in immediate dismissal without prior warning.

11. Acceptance & Equal Enforcement

Participants have the right to decline these rules. However, as these standards are established for the smooth operation of the workshop and the protection of all participants, refusal may result in restrictions on program participation.

Any questions or objections regarding these rules may be submitted at any time to info@hdcsw-rok.com, and staff will review and respond accordingly.

If a participant continues to attend after the start of workshop sessions without raising an objection, the participant will be deemed to have understood and accepted these rules.

These rules shall be applied equally and fairly to all participants without discrimination.

12. Acknowledgement

All participants are responsible for understanding and following these rules and are expected to cooperate in creating a safe and high-quality learning community.
