프로그램 특징
1. Harvard Debate Council 공식 프로그램
본 워크샵은 Harvard Debate Council이 직접 기획
및 운영하는 공식 프로그램입니다.
Harvard Debate Council의 교육 철학과 실제 운영
기준을 기반으로 동일한 방식의 커리큘럼과 트레이닝 시스템이 적용됩니다.
2. Harvard Debate Council 코치진 직접 참여
Harvard Debate Council 디렉터 Dr. Tripp Rebrovick이 프로그램을 직접 리드하며 Harvard 소속 우수 코치진이 학생들을 지도합니다.
3. 수준별 맞춤형 클래스 운영
학생들의 나이, 학년, 영어 구사 능력 및 디베이트 경험 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 반 편성이 진행됩니다.
레벨 테스트 및 공식 성적 제출은 필수 사항이 아니며, 추가 자료 제출을 원하는 경우 개별 제출이 가능합니다.
4. 집중형 몰입 프로그램
하루 종일 진행되는 Intensive Schedule을 통해 실전 토론, 발표, 리서치 및 피드백 중심의 수업이 운영됩니다.
5. 실전 Tournament 경험 제공
실제 Tournament 환경에서 경쟁과 피드백을 경험하며 글로벌
디베이트 기준에 맞춘 Competitive Debate Training이 함께 진행됩니다.
6. 공식 수료증 발급
프로그램 수료 학생에게는 Harvard Debate Council 명의의 공식 수료증이 발급됩니다.
보스턴 캠퍼스 프로그램과 동일한 형식의 공식 수료증이 제공됩니다.
7. Harvard Debate Council Boston Tournament 참가 안내
Harvard Debate Council의 공식 디베이트 토너먼트는
매년 2월 Harvard University Boston 캠퍼스에서
개최됩니다.
보스턴 프로그램 및 Tournament 참가를 희망하는 학생은 워크샵

운영 안내
- 프로그램 효과를 위해 2주 전체 참여를 권장합니다.
- 세부 시간표 및 클래스 구성은 최종 확정 후 별도 공지됩니다.
- 등록 완료 후 개별 Invoice가 이메일로 발송됩니다.
- 일부 클래스 및 레벨 그룹은 조기 마감될 수 있습니다.
- 정원 마감 시 제한된 Waitlist가 운영될 예정입니다.
등록 안내 및 유의사항
등록 신청서 제출만으로는 본 워크샵 등록이 최종 확정되지 않습니다.
등록 완료 여부는 개별 Invoice 수령 후, 인보이스에 기재된 지정 기한 내 참가비 입금이 완료되고 최종
Registration Confirmation Email을 수령한 참가자에 한하여 인정됩니다.
등록 보장 기간은 Invoice에 명시된 입금 마감 기한까지로 제한됩니다.
입금 기한 이후 입금 건에 대해서는 별도 등록 가능 여부 확인이 필요하며, 상황에 따라 Invoice가 재발급될 수 있습니다.
정원 제한 및 클래스 운영 상황에 따라 일부 레벨 및 그룹은 조기 마감될 수 있습니다.
입금 기한 초과로 인해 발생하는 등록 제한, 대기 등록 전환 또는
기타 불이익에 대해서는 본 워크샵 운영 측에서 책임지지 않음을 사전 안내드립니다.

Program Overview
Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshop
Korea is an intensive English debate program officially designed and operated
by the Harvard Debate Council.
Led directly by Harvard Debate Council
Director Dr. Tripp Rebrovick and Harvard-affiliated coaching staff, the program
is designed to strengthen students’ logical reasoning, public speaking,
leadership, and academic English communication skills.

Program Features
1. Official Harvard Debate Council Program
This workshop is officially designed and operated by the Harvard Debate Council, following its educational philosophy and official training standards.
2. Harvard Debate Council Coaching Staff Participation
The program is led directly by Harvard
Debate Council Director Dr. Tripp Rebrovick alongside experienced
Harvard-affiliated debate coaches.
3. Level-Based Class Placement
Students are placed into groups based on age, grade level, English proficiency, and debate experience.
Official test scores are not required for placement. Optional materials may be submitted if desired.
4. Full Immersion Intensive Training
Students participate in immersive full-day sessions focused on debate practice, public speaking, research, analytical
thinking, and structured feedback.
5. Real Tournament Experience
Students gain firsthand experience in a real competitive debate environment through official tournament participation
and adjudicated rounds.
6. Official Certificate of Completion
Students who complete the program will receive an official Certificate of Completion issued by the Harvard Debate Council.
The certificate follows the same official
format used in Harvard Debate Council Boston programs.
7. Harvard Debate Council Boston Tournament Information
The official Harvard Debate Council Tournament is held annually each February at Harvard University in Boston.
Students interested in future Boston programs or tournament participation may contact ASDA Korea after the workshop.

8. Long-Term Academic Development
The program is designed not simply as a short-term experience, but as part of a structured long-term academic and
leadership development pathway.

Outstanding performance in TOC and
NSDA-level debate competitions is often recognized as a highly competitive
academic achievement by admissions officers at top U.S. universities and Ivy
League institutions.

may vary depending on student participation and engagement.
Important Information
- Full 2-week participation is strongly recommended.
- Detailed schedules and class assignments will be announced after final confirmation.
- Individual invoices will be sent by email after registration.
- Certain divisions and class groups may close early due to limited capacity.
- Limited waitlists may be available after capacity is reached.
Registration Policy
Workshop registration is not considered
complete solely upon submission of the registration form.
Registration is confirmed only after:
- Receipt of the official invoice
- Full payment within the payment deadline stated on the invoice
- Receipt of the final Registration Confirmation Email
Seat reservation is guaranteed only until
the payment deadline indicated on the invoice.
For payments made after the stated
deadline, registration availability must be reconfirmed separately, and
invoices may need to be reissued depending on program availability.
Due to limited capacity and class placement
considerations, certain divisions or groups may close early.
Please note that the workshop
administration is not responsible for disadvantages resulting from missed
payment deadlines, including registration cancellation or waitlist placement.
