Deep expertise.
The Policy Debate format is the oldest and most distinguished debate format practiced in the United States. Students engage in in-depth debate on a single topic over an extended period of time, developing a deep understanding of the subject.
We offer a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to research and debate the year’s topic. The program focuses on the three pillars of research, argumentation and persuasion. Students conduct research, build strategic and compelling arguments, and practice speaking with clarity, conviction, and confidence.
심층 리서치 사고력
Research
Harvard Debate Council, serves as the foundation for student research. Students learn how to evaluate sources, synthesize complex information, and develop a deep, multi-dimensional understanding of a single topic over time.
논리적 논증
Argumentation
Students learn to construct strategic, evidence-based arguments from the ground up. They develop the ability to anticipate counterarguments, refine their logic, and respond with precision and structure in real-time debate settings.
설득력 있는 스피치
Persuasion
Students practice delivering ideas with clarity, conviction, and purpose. They refine their speaking to be not only accurate, but also compelling, confident, and impactful in competitive environments.
